Founded in 1983, Sibex began operations in a small 3000 square foot house turned into a commercial building in Safety Harbor, Florida. Those small beginnings were just the start of what is now a massive operation. The company has expanded and now has two more manufacturing facilities in both Homosassa and Crystal River, Florida, with additional warehouse space added to the Safety Harbor plant.

During that time, a special relationship began to grow between Sibex and one of their top customers, Power Designers. Power Designers creates innovative industrial battery chargers and they entrusted Sibex as the manufacturer of their product lines. Sibex expanded their operations of Power Designers products more and more each year, and soon they designated an entire manufacturing line for these innovative products.

This level of trust grew into something more in March of 2017, when the two companies’ combined forces creating Power Designers Sibex. With two distinct yet integrated divisions, contract manufacturing and materials handling, Power Designers Sibex is a key player in the electronics industry. These combined resources make the new Power Designers Sibex competitive, innovative, and efficient all with unbelievable quality.
